The issue was that I honestly didn't care about the characters at all. Meyer's writing is wonderful as always and it was great to listen to. That being said, it's not that the book was necessarily bad. I must admit, that had I been reading it myself, I would have put it down and strongly debated picking it back up. I did listen to the audiobook and I have to give props to the narrator, Rebecca Soler for making the story engaging. Despite all that, I didn't love this book.
